Action potential is the signal the brain sends when it intends to do something.

It processes the need to do something for 0.3s, emits this signal to prepare for the action, the VLPC processes it for 0.2s to decide whether to hault the action, and then it proceeds if not inhibited. This in turn means that the brain decides to do something 0.5s before the decision enters awareness.rR1
