The Spotify Model attempts to optimize an org for team autonomy.

Valuing little else about org design, it was a failure for making the wrong tradeoffs. Its design and rationale made tradeoffs that ultimately did not meet their needs or address their challenges. Potentially better tradeoffs could be made, but ultimately the only way to find appropriate tradeoffs is by analysis of the organization.rL3
