Sharing personal values with others allows them to interpret us more correctly.

Values shape actions, focuses, blindspots, strengths, weakenesses. Providing others with the ability to see what drives us gives them the opportunity to reassess from their perspective. Enables cohesion through trust. Identifying and acting on values. Helps obviate resentment of one’s viewpoint not being considered. Teams share values and therefore should assume the best of one another.
