Self-organization is the ability of a system to grow complexity.

It is a meta-resiliency where feedback loops restore and rebuild one another. Bottom-up self-organization is how hierarchy gets built. Self-organization offers authority over the lower-order leverage points in a system, and is itself a higher leverage point.rM3
