Kicking off a new kanban process.

  1. Identify sources of dissatisfaction: What do members/customers dislike?
  2. Analyze demand: Where do requests come from? Any patterns?
  3. Analyze system capabilities: What does history say about delivery speed?
  4. Model the workflow: What activities affect each work item?
  5. Identify classes of service: How are which items handled within the system?
  6. Design the board: Model all this in a board: workflow = columns, classes = rows.
