Separating from employees who do not reflect the org’s values is key to health.

All members of the team must demonstrate the core and permission-to-play values, and anything less is harmful to the org. When a poor performer is identified, their management situation should be inspected first. Retaining misaligned employees, even otherwise strong performers, signals that the values are optional. The employee could be thriving in some other org instead.rL1
