Micromanagement neutralizes creativity.

Stripping work of meaning and context while pushing it down for execution prevents additional creative input, in part because the ideation/solution making has ended, and in part because autonomy has been removed. This typically also means that responsibility is being transferred, but authority is not. Defining tasks together can prevent accidental micromanagement as can a TASC survey. Not leaving room for growth may do the same.rB1
