Signals indicating a team’s health.

  • Manual versus automated process: Is too much time spent unnecessarily?
  • Release frequency: What could be done to release more often?
  • Submission frequency: Is work-in-progress being adequately minimized? Is the work being decomposed into adequately sized subcomponents?
  • Incident frequency: Is the right balance between problems and defensive work being struck? Too heavy on either side contributes to burnout.
